Hi, I really like the blog but nothing on Leo's best creation, the MUSICMAN. I would be interested to have your opinion on the Musicman amps from the late 70's early 80's. I have 4, Rd112-50 RD112-65 RP212-75 and finally a mint condition HD212-130. Do i need help! look forward to your comments and have you any tips on these amps, keep up the blog cheers GT
I love Musicman amps. They have HEADROOM, an underestimated virtue. Often very high voltages and erm interesting circuits (ie innovative and designed from the ground up). All I can think to add is that these are not amps that will happily trundle on with little faults - if one starts to go wrong, get it sorted, as like Pop they will eat themselves if left to their own devices..
